Naked Skin Care Product Review

Hey Guys!

I have been looking for a good skin care range for a while, i wanted something were i could afford to buy the whole range!. So i was delighted when superdrug were having a half price sale on skin care with free P&P, I then came across this skin care range. It isnt something i had heard about before but was intrigued but Naked Skin in particular because it boasts about its natural ingredients!. I bought, Blinking Lovely Eye make-up remover, Bare Faced Cheek softening face wash, Perfect Getaway cream cleanser, Looking Good soothing eye gel and Thirst Aid 12 hour moisturiser. Unfortunately Superdrug don't seem to stock the toner which was disappointing but you can get it on the Naked Skin website which i will link at the end of this post along with the prices.

Now more about the products them selfs. They are all made from naturally derived ingredients without Sulphates, Parabens, Petrochemicals or Silcone. Now im no expert but those all sound like things that i wouldnt want on my skin!. Also the bottle says 'We don't believe in testing our ingredients on Bambi, Lassie or Skippy.' which is a complete bonus! i really try and avoid products that test on animals. The bottles are made from 50% recycled materials too, Naked Say, Recycling is like Karma, what comes around goes around!.

Blinking lovely, Eye make-up remover
The back of the bottle says 'The hills are alive with alpine herbs! These fresh air fanatics tone and refresh tired eyes. Meanwhile witch hazel and aloe vera help to cool.' I was a bit sceptical about this 'refreshing tired eyes' but i can tell you that it does, my skin feels fresh and clean after using this to get my eye make-up of, It gets all of my make-up off too!.

Bare Faced Cheek - softening face wash
The back of the bottle says 'Rose is known to be soothing and can leave your face really soft. We use Damask Rose, bursting with antioxidants, which fight free radicals (Must be a revolution in anti-aging). It's very gentle and your face should feel as clear as a brand new credit card.' When i first smelt this i fell in love! It smells like Turkish Delight!! Which is my number one favourite treat!. A little of this product goes a long way so i have a feeling this is going to last a while and i use it every day!. It really does soften the skin, before i used this is was using Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish to soften my skin but this beats that hands down! with the price difference aswell Liz Earle isnt going to cut it anymore for me. (Liz Earle is £23.00 for 200ml)

Perfect Getaway - Cream Cleanser.
The back of the bottle says 'Our gentle cream cleanser is full of famous faces: Aloe vera is well known for soothing and hydrating. It's joined on the red carpet by cocoa butter which helps soften the skin and ginseng is all about the radiance darling!.' I can really smell the Ginseng in this, which isnt my favourite smell but it is not over powing so doesnt by no means smell bad. Over all it is a great cleanser my skin feels hydrated after using it.

Looking Good - Soothing Eye Gel.

The back of the bottle says 'Cooling and refreshing for the delicate eye area. Clinically rested for sensitive skin. Dermatologically tested. Fragrance free. Alcohol free.' To me this product doesnt smell of anything to me it says it contains cucumber and camomile, but i can't smell them. It does how ever cool around the eye area and feels like i have a protective layer on the delicate area around the eyes.

Thirst Aid - 12 hour moisturiser

The back of the tub says 'Like all oils, Starflower, neroli and argan are hydrating and they smell amazing too. We have a bit of a crush on shea butter as it's so good at helping keep our skin soft and smooth: much more rewarding than those crushes we has in school!. clinically tested for sensitive skin. Dermatologically tested. Fragrance free. Alcohol free.' This smells herbal, very natural and clean. Its very hydrating and i can notice the difference in the smoothness of my skin as soon as i put it on, one it has soaked into my skin it makes for an amazing make-up base, ive been using this with no primer under my make-up!.

Overall I love everything from the range that i have tried!, I will be trying more from the brand as they do hair care and body care too!, If i had to pick one thing to buy again it would be the Bare Faced cheek face wash, not only does it smell like a dream but i love the how soft it leaves my skin!.
