Green Festive eye make-up tutorial

Hey guys!.

So im here with my first make-up tutorial type post! I hope you like this!.

This is what i created, this was inspired by Pixiwoo on youtube.

I only used 1 eye shadow to do this,
I patted it all over my lid so if formed a nice circular shape, I used a flat shadow brush to do that.
Then i took a large fluffy blending brush and blended away!

The green i used for this was in the 88 colour palette and it is the darkest green in the palette.

I then lined the lower lash line with the same green shadow using the flat shadow brush i used at the begining, then i used a smaller blending brush to blended that out.

I then softly lined my water line with a black khol pencil mine was from Avon.
I curled my lashes,
Then applied my mascara mine was the Nouveau Lashes Noir Mascara, which i got in the glossy box.
Then All i did was take a tiny bit of cream eye make up remover (i used Simple's) on a cotton bud and cleaned around the bottom of my eye.

Thats it!.
Super simple i can't wait to try this out with a deep purple color!

How to make a shimmer lipstick matte

Hey Guys!

I dont know about you but i love the Matte velvet lip look for the festive season, but i don't want to go and buy a whole load of new lipsticks that im only going to use a few days of the year, also more matte lipsticks can be drying and especially now its cold we really don't need anything thats going to dry our lips out anymore.

So wouldnt it be great if you could make your favourite shimmer lipstick into a matte!, Well acctually you can!. I only heard this a few days ago and was amazed!. My lipstick lasted all day and didnt rub of while eating or drinking!

So here it is!
Yep HD powder ive only got ELF HD powder but any other would do!

Im not going to do lip swatches because im having a break out around my chin :( but i do have some hand swatches for you
These are both Collection 2000, the one on the left is Plum Perfection and the one on the right it Ruby Red. (These are only £2.99)

Here is the lipsticks straight out the tube

Just lightly pat a little bit of the HD powder over the top
and you will get .........

It lasted me all day and didnt dry out my lips!.
Let me know if you try it!

NOTD, Deborah Lippmann Razzle Dazzle.

Hey Guys.

Just a quick NOTD post for you
I didnt realise how messy they looked untill i was trying to get a upclose picture of them. Also this is really hard to get a picture of what the polish acctually looks like!, this really doesnt do it justice!.
This is Deborah Lippmann Nail polish that came in Decembers Glossybox, I am really pleased with the color and it goes on well although i did put two coats on. It looks redder in person but i think you can just make out on the picture the defferent color glitters in there.
I must say though, im not astonished by this!, It is lovely and i adore the color but after using the W7 glitter polishes this one isnt as good as the W7 ones, you can get W7 polishes at budget beauty shops for around £1.99 if not even cheaper, Ive enjoyed this but i will not be paying £16.99 for one.
Thank you for reading and stay tuned for a review / swatches of the W7 polishes i mentioned above.

Hey Guys!

First off i want to just put a little in about Glossy Box customer service, My Glossy Box arrived looking like this.
Which was clearly due to the postal service and not to Glossy Box them selves, So i emailed them with the picture that is above and by the afternoon they had emailed my back with an apology and dispatched me out another box!. In my first box i got, Rituals Foaming shower gel, Cargo Lip Gloss, Nouveau noir Mascara, First Aid facial cleanser and the Deborah Lippmann, nail polish.

So two days later i got another box in the post! I was SUPER excited that it didnt have nail polish over everything!

Naked Skin Care Product Review

Hey Guys!

I have been looking for a good skin care range for a while, i wanted something were i could afford to buy the whole range!. So i was delighted when superdrug were having a half price sale on skin care with free P&P, I then came across this skin care range. It isnt something i had heard about before but was intrigued but Naked Skin in particular because it boasts about its natural ingredients!. I bought, Blinking Lovely Eye make-up remover, Bare Faced Cheek softening face wash, Perfect Getaway cream cleanser, Looking Good soothing eye gel and Thirst Aid 12 hour moisturiser. Unfortunately Superdrug don't seem to stock the toner which was disappointing but you can get it on the Naked Skin website which i will link at the end of this post along with the prices.

Now more about the products them selfs. They are all made from naturally derived ingredients without Sulphates, Parabens, Petrochemicals or Silcone. Now im no expert but those all sound like things that i wouldnt want on my skin!. Also the bottle says 'We don't believe in testing our ingredients on Bambi, Lassie or Skippy.' which is a complete bonus! i really try and avoid products that test on animals. The bottles are made from 50% recycled materials too, Naked Say, Recycling is like Karma, what comes around goes around!.

Blinking lovely, Eye make-up remover
The back of the bottle says 'The hills are alive with alpine herbs! These fresh air fanatics tone and refresh tired eyes. Meanwhile witch hazel and aloe vera help to cool.' I was a bit sceptical about this 'refreshing tired eyes' but i can tell you that it does, my skin feels fresh and clean after using this to get my eye make-up of, It gets all of my make-up off too!.

Bare Faced Cheek - softening face wash
The back of the bottle says 'Rose is known to be soothing and can leave your face really soft. We use Damask Rose, bursting with antioxidants, which fight free radicals (Must be a revolution in anti-aging). It's very gentle and your face should feel as clear as a brand new credit card.' When i first smelt this i fell in love! It smells like Turkish Delight!! Which is my number one favourite treat!. A little of this product goes a long way so i have a feeling this is going to last a while and i use it every day!. It really does soften the skin, before i used this is was using Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish to soften my skin but this beats that hands down! with the price difference aswell Liz Earle isnt going to cut it anymore for me. (Liz Earle is £23.00 for 200ml)

Perfect Getaway - Cream Cleanser.
The back of the bottle says 'Our gentle cream cleanser is full of famous faces: Aloe vera is well known for soothing and hydrating. It's joined on the red carpet by cocoa butter which helps soften the skin and ginseng is all about the radiance darling!.' I can really smell the Ginseng in this, which isnt my favourite smell but it is not over powing so doesnt by no means smell bad. Over all it is a great cleanser my skin feels hydrated after using it.

Looking Good - Soothing Eye Gel.

The back of the bottle says 'Cooling and refreshing for the delicate eye area. Clinically rested for sensitive skin. Dermatologically tested. Fragrance free. Alcohol free.' To me this product doesnt smell of anything to me it says it contains cucumber and camomile, but i can't smell them. It does how ever cool around the eye area and feels like i have a protective layer on the delicate area around the eyes.

Thirst Aid - 12 hour moisturiser

The back of the tub says 'Like all oils, Starflower, neroli and argan are hydrating and they smell amazing too. We have a bit of a crush on shea butter as it's so good at helping keep our skin soft and smooth: much more rewarding than those crushes we has in school!. clinically tested for sensitive skin. Dermatologically tested. Fragrance free. Alcohol free.' This smells herbal, very natural and clean. Its very hydrating and i can notice the difference in the smoothness of my skin as soon as i put it on, one it has soaked into my skin it makes for an amazing make-up base, ive been using this with no primer under my make-up!.

Overall I love everything from the range that i have tried!, I will be trying more from the brand as they do hair care and body care too!, If i had to pick one thing to buy again it would be the Bare Faced cheek face wash, not only does it smell like a dream but i love the how soft it leaves my skin!.

You can get Naked Skin at
Face wash - £4.49 - 200ml
Make-up Remover - £4.49 - 200ml
Cream Cleanser - £4.49 - 200ml
Eye Gel - £7.49 - 15ml
Moisturiser - £7.49 - 100ml
Toner - £4.49 - 200ml (Superdrug don't stock it)

Primark & Lush Haul.

Hey guys

Ive got a small Primark haul and a Lush haul for you guys!

Lets start with Jewellery!

I Really like crosses at the moment, but its hard to find a good looking one in a budget shop suck as primark so i jumped at this when i saw it! The chain is very long which i love. Some of these in the shop had the middle gem missing so i may remove it myself and stick it back in with some super glue! This was £2.50

This was love at first sight!, im loving the new long chains that are in primark at the moment, this comes nearly to my belly button most of my chains come the bust line. Personally i prefer silver look jewellery to gold especially when its cheap like this. This was £2.00

The Next thing i got is this wool style dress, I couldnt get a good picture of the whole dress so here is just a part of it. It is short sleeved and comes to just above the knee and has two pocket details at the bottom. Here is a closer picture of the actual pattern.
I love this style for the winter!. Some thick tights/leggings and a long sleeved tops under it! nice and cozy!. It was a bit pricey though at £12 for a dress in primark is a little steep i think, but there were some skirts in there that were the same design as this and they were £10 so this has to be better value than that.

Primark have some great hand bags in at the moment. I could have easily bought 5 or 6 of them! but i stopped myself at 2 which was hard for a self confessed handbag-a-holic like me! There is plenty of room in this bag to store all my rubbish! Here is a picture of the inside of the bad
The picture does'nt really do the color justice, It is a fantastic lime green color which is currently one of my favs! It was £8.00

This is the last thing i have to haul from Primark, although i did get 2 pairs of leggings which seem a better quaility than the usial primark leggings they were sill only £3.00. Now back to the bag! its got a nice long over the shoulder handle, I like the mustard color too but even more than that i love the price! It was down from £7, it was now £3.00! They had some more colors so i might pop down soon and get a few more!!

Now onto the LUSH stuff!!

I get really excited everytime i go into lush but i always seem to come out with pretty much the same stuff all the time! I need to be more adventurous.

The first thing i got was SNOW FAIRY!, Honestly if you havent tried this and you love sweet smells and smells of candy. I watched a load of youtube videos where the gurus were raving about this but always pushed it to one side and never even smelt it before!. untill this year when i bit the bullet and got a small bottle. Its now my fav! I love it so much i went and bought the bigest bottle they do which is the 500g one! Normally spending £9.95 on shower gel would be way out of the question for me, i thought spending the £3 on the small bottle was too much i just couldnt resist it!.

The next thing is got is 'The Comforter' Bubble bar, This smells like blackcurrent! Not in a cheap cordial juice can of way but in a lovely fresh blackcurrent kind of way, I got quite a big chunk here i have yet to try this one but i do love the bubble bars, i never leave lush with out buying one. This was £3.99

Ive heard alot about the luch lip scrubs but mainly the 'Bubblegum' one that they do, ive not really heard alot bout this one! This one is called 'Pow Wow' it tastes like lime jelly babies! which at my favourite kind of jelly baby! It also has  something the others dont have! POPPING CANDY!!, I havent had pop rocks since i was a kid they were amazing! i have used loads of this up because i just can't stop dipping my fingers in it, it feels like i am craving this!! This was £4.75

The very last thing in the haul is a very smashed up and broken 'Candy Mountain' I boyfriend decided to use this while i was out and he totally poulverised it!. It is another bubble bar, this one smells obviously like candy from the name its very sweet! And it sends your bath water a great pinky color! This was £2.35

Nail Rock Nail Wraps Review & Test.

Hey Guys!

I really wanted to try the Nails Rock Nail wraps that i got in my glossy box last month so i thought i would do a small review for you. I have taken a picture of my nails every day since i applied them.

The Application its self was fairly easy but i wouldnt say these are got beginners, i got a few bumps around the edges of mine and i regularly do my nails with nail art, by no means am i a nail expert / tech i just love to do my nails.

Day 1
I did try and put a top coat on them but it seemed to peel straight off when it had dried.

Day 2
It seems to have started to peel around the edges pretty quick!

Day 3
Not much change today, although around the cuticle area on my index finger has started to bubble up

Day 4
Not much of a change, but i did try and tidy the edges up with a nail file.

Day 5
I was thinking about removing them on this day because i felt they now were really starting to look scruffy.

Day 6
This is the day that i removed them, they were looking way to scruffy and starting to peel

6 Days for me is a really good lasting product, nail polish with a top coat could last around 3 days at a push!. I do really like them and i am impressed with the length of time they lasted and i would purchase these for special occations but i would not pay the £6.65 price for regular use.
