Urban Decay Naked 2 First impression!

Hey guys,

Lovers of the Orignal Naked Palette would understand my excitment when my Fiance bought me the naked palette 2 home today after going out to buy himself a computer game!. He must have seen my wishlist!!. I didnt even think this was out in the UK yet?.

The lipgloss smells like mint ice cream! mmmmm

I will do a seperate post with all the swatches!

First impressions - I love all the colors, a little disappointed that it has half baked again!, but it was one of my favourites from the orignal!.

Also i have a amazing Fiance :D

Sanctuary 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask

Hey Guys,

Ive been trying out the Sanctuary 5 minute themal detox mask for almost two weeks now, the bottle says two use this twice weekly which i have been doing. My first impressions were great, the thermal is brilliant when it first goes onto the skin, better than any other thermal product i have tried before. The scent of this isnt very nice.... well it is nice if you like to smell like you have play dough on your face... It feels really thick and sticky. You would not be able to apply this to dry skin because you just wouldnt be able to spread it over the face. As for the results, i was not impressed it is suppose to leave the skin feeling 'Perfectly Clean and Purified', im not convinced. For me, it just left my skin a little soft, but an average face wash does that.

Although i can say if you like that At Home Spa treat the thremal is great and quite relaxing.

I wouldnt be re-purchasing this again. Would i purchase anything else from Sanctuary?, Im not sure, maybe if they have some amazing deals i might go and try some other bits out.

Favourites of 2011!

Hey guys!

This is my favourite or most used products of 2011, I know its already January 13th but better late than never right?

I have quite a few things to share so ill just crack on with it!.

Lets start with .. Skin care!.

Please Ignore the Liz earle! No idea why i put it in the picture but it is not one of my favourites!

My fav face wash of 2011 was the Naked Skincare Bare Faced Cheek softening facial wash, It leaves my skin super soft and feeling very clean!. I did a blog post on the Naked Skincare range if you want to know more.

Exfoliating wash - My skin loves to be exfoliated but ive fount it hard to find a AMAZING one for my face, but this one is by far my fav, Its the Clean & Clear exfoliating daily wash.

Daily Moisturising - Ive been using the Naked Skin Thirst Aid 12 hour Moisturiser for a few months now and i love it, my skin feels soft and hydrated!.

Night Moisturiser - Ive been using the Superdrug own brand moisturiser and i love it!, I can't wait to put it on at night, it smells so good. Its also nice and thick everything you need from a over night moisturiser!.

I have two body products that ive just adored this year both by soap and glory.

Body butter - Its has to be The Righteous Butter its smell is to die for! Its super moisturising i love to cover my body in it when im getting out the shower!.

Body Scrub - The Pulp Friction Foamy Fruity body scrub its doesnt smell as good as the righteous butter, its more citrusy but still lovely. It really gets all the dead skin of your body. The one thing bad .. well not so much bad as annoying .. is that i would recommend that you do it in the shower not the bath!, I did this in the bath and it felt like i was sitting on all the little balls ... not very nice lol!.

The one thing i have for my Hair favs is the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Colour Deep treatment

I leaves my hair so shiney

My hair is never that shiney unless i used this! It is truely my hair holey grail.

Now for make up

So im totally rubbish at doing photos!, I forgot to put my foundation in the picture!.

Foundation - Maybelline Air-whipped Air-brush finish Dream satin liquid. This is my all time fav foundation, ive been using this for what feels like years, this must be my third of fourth bottle, my colour is 004 Light Porcelain. It goes on great and feels sliky. It doesnt last a long time but im not going to be wearing foundation for more than 9 hours a day.

Translucent Powder - I love loose powderd and Collections 2000s Sheer Loose Powder its the best setting powder ive tried this year and best of all is the pice! this is £2.99

BB Cream - I dont like to wear foundation every day so ive been using the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector Its not the exact same color as my skin but when i put a bit of powder over the top it evens out!.

Concealer - Collection 2000 cover stick!, Its nice and thick for covering blemishes, not so great for under the eyes but still works good.

Blush - Ive not hear alot about the Accessorize cosmetics, but i love this blush it has been my go to blush for over 6 months! Its very shimmery so i dont apply it to the apples of my cheaks. The shade i have is called Wowzer!

Highlight - Barbara Daily Light Illusion Powder highlight there isnt too much to say about this except its a fantastic highlight! You can find Barbara Dailey at Tesco!.

Eye Liner - Collection 2000 extreme felt tip liner, These things last all day! and they are really easy to apply and they have some great colors the two that i have are Teal and Blue.

Shadow Base - NYX jumber eye pencil in Milk, this is raved about alot so i had to order one from america and get it shipped out to me, i have no idea if there is any were that is stocking these in the UK yet but i couldnt find them here. But it is a great base, its almost sticky so you wouldnt want to wear it with out a powder shadow on top.

Shadows - Ive used my Urban Decay Naked Palette almost everyday since i got it i adore it! its like my baby!. I use Buck for my brow shade.

Two of my fav quick combos are Half Baked and Smog then Toasted and Hustle. 

Finishing Spray - I love the elf finishing spray it makes my make up last longer although i am looking to try the urban decay one as im not in love with the smell of this one.

Lipstick - Collection 2000 have done some great lip colours this year and ive loved the lasting colour collection my two favourites are Sugar Pink and Pink Shock!.

Brushes - Ive not got that many brushes to be honest, Ive been wanting to get a set from Sigma but ive just not been able to justify spending that amount of money on some brushes so here is my fav this year its the MAC 187 stippling brush and i love it for using with my liquid foundation.

My new years resolutions!

Hey guys,

I dont know why i didnt post this a week ago but its been hectic here over new year!.

I wanted to share my new years resolutions as ive enjoyed reading everyone elses, so i will get started.

1. Firstly about 99% of people have the same resolution (or there abouts) Is to loose weight!, I have put on so much weight this year it is almost unreal! I dont feel right in alot of my clothes right now and feel my health is starting to suffer!, also i put on weight on my face first, i have a big fat puffy face right now! :(. So the healthy eating and the workouts have begun ive got alot of weight to shift and im not planing on giving up and of my lovely goodies just cutting down so im working extra hard!.

2. Take care of my skin!, I have resonably good skin but i do not take good enough care of it!, Late at night i will just use a facial wipe to get my make-up off and slap some moisturiser on before i fall asleep!. I know i need to wash my face but after a very long day i just want to fall asleep, as a result i break out because i still have make up on my face. Not this year!, Im going to do my routine every evening, no matter how tierd i am!

3. Is to move house!, Which has already been taken care of! Ive been very pro active in looking for a house, ive found the perfect place and we are moving in at the end of the month, so i can really check this one of the list already!.

4. This last one isnt so much a Resolution because it is very much out of my control but its a big choice we have made in our life and there is no going back. Ive known for a while (most of my life acctually) that i wanted a family and 2012 IS the year it will happen for us!. If we do manage to get pregnant i will be starting a pregnancy blog.

That is if for my resolutions for 2012 i think they are achievable and im going to be working my hardest to make them all a reality.

Green Glittery NOTD - W7 Glittler polish

Hey guys!.

So christmas i over, We have eaten a years fill of Turkey and chocolate the tree will soon becoming down and we will be returning to normal life!. So ive tried to hand on to a little bit of that christmas feeling with my nail polish.

Im a great fan of the W7 nail polishes and they are cheap! (Around £1.99)

This color is number 73 Cosmic Green

And this is with ONE yet ONE coat!

This is a fantastic polish but as will all glitter polish it is a nightmare to get off but with a bit of elbow grease and some good cotton pads it will all come off without too much hasstle.

I have swatches of all the W7 glitters coming up soon!

Green Festive eye make-up tutorial

Hey guys!.

So im here with my first make-up tutorial type post! I hope you like this!.

This is what i created, this was inspired by Pixiwoo on youtube.

I only used 1 eye shadow to do this,

I patted it all over my lid so if formed a nice circular shape, I used a flat shadow brush to do that.

Then i took a large fluffy blending brush and blended away!

The green i used for this was in the 88 colour palette and it is the darkest green in the palette.

I then lined the lower lash line with the same green shadow using the flat shadow brush i used at the begining, then i used a smaller blending brush to blended that out.

I then softly lined my water line with a black khol pencil mine was from Avon.

I curled my lashes,

Then applied my mascara mine was the Nouveau Lashes Noir Mascara, which i got in the glossy box.

Then All i did was take a tiny bit of cream eye make up remover (i used Simple's) on a cotton bud and cleaned around the bottom of my eye.

Thats it!.

Super simple i can't wait to try this out with a deep purple color!
