YSL shocking mascara.

When planning my wedding and deciding to do my own make-up second to getting a really good high end foundation was getting a high end mascara and after spending an hour in boots looking at all the high end counters I opted for the YSL Shocking mascara.

I wish I could say this was worth the £23 I paid for it but I honestly can't. The packaging is my favorite over all other mascara packaging, its not the packaging that counts though right.

So onto the product within, the scent for me is too heavy and powdery, I'm more use to scent free mascara, I'm not sure if that would be a problem for sensitive eyes, if you have sensitive eye try and get a sample or get the girl on the counter to try it on you before you buy. The wand looks and feels like your bog standard wand with bristle that you would get in a much cheaper mascara.

Overall i will not be purchasing this again, I do like the product but its not a LOVE and for £23 it is not worth the cash. I will be buying from my favorite mascara brand maybelline which I think are better than the YSL and cost around £7/8. After all the good things I was hearing about this mascara I am really disappointed with it and YSL have totally put me off high end Mascara!.

Nail polish Collection 2012

Nail polish collection 2012

So after weeks and weeks of not being able to find the nail polish in my collection that i wanted because of the huge mess everything was in i decided today is the day I sort it out!.

I dug out all of my empty Glossybox boxes and began organising!.

Now all my nail polishes are boxed by color, as are my nail art pens. I'm thinking i need to find a better way to store the nail art pens as they are 3 layers deep and getting the the bottom layer isnt going to be the easiest task!. Any ideas on that one?.

Vivo Lipstick swatches.

Swatches from the Tesco Vivo lip stick range.

Barely there - Pink Pout - Sugar Pink

I must say these do smell a little like a cheap air freshener. Personally i don't mind that and you can't really grumble at the £1.50 price tag.

Ruby Woo - MAC & Dupe.

I finally got around to getting this lipstick ive been eyeing it up for a while and ive heard so much great stuff about it!.

Its a fantastic color and im very glad that i bought it. The matte finish is fantastic, doesnt dry out my lips and weres very well. This is the first MAC matte lipstick and im deffintly going to get checking out more of them!

If you are looking for a simular color but not a matte, Ruby Red by Collection (Previously Collection 2000) is a fantastic alternative. Also if you are wanting to make the collection lipstick matte you can easily pat a little bit of HD powder onto your lips with your finger, this will make your lipstick matte.

Ruby red, Collection - Ruby Woo, MAC

Whats your favourite Matte Lipstick?.

Green Festive eye make-up tutorial

Hey guys!.

So im here with my first make-up tutorial type post! I hope you like this!.

This is what i created, this was inspired by Pixiwoo on youtube.

I only used 1 eye shadow to do this,
I patted it all over my lid so if formed a nice circular shape, I used a flat shadow brush to do that.
Then i took a large fluffy blending brush and blended away!

The green i used for this was in the 88 colour palette and it is the darkest green in the palette.

I then lined the lower lash line with the same green shadow using the flat shadow brush i used at the begining, then i used a smaller blending brush to blended that out.

I then softly lined my water line with a black khol pencil mine was from Avon.
I curled my lashes,
Then applied my mascara mine was the Nouveau Lashes Noir Mascara, which i got in the glossy box.
Then All i did was take a tiny bit of cream eye make up remover (i used Simple's) on a cotton bud and cleaned around the bottom of my eye.

Thats it!.
Super simple i can't wait to try this out with a deep purple color!

Thank you for reading!
